As a SAHM and WAHM, I know all too well. Although, throughout the years I have found other sources of income for events such as this to bring in the extra dough and will share with you.... the ideas, not the cash.
Even if you work outside the home, you can still do these ideas in your spare time that are listed below. All you have to do is get started not now, but RIGHT NOW!

Visit Bing. Use this search engine to earn different kinds of gift cards. You can search on your mobile phone for up to 10 credits and on your PC for up to 15 credits everyday.
Visit Qmee. Earn cash when you do your normal searches using your favorite search engine such as Google, Yahoo, eBay, Amazon and Bing. Depending on your search, you will see advertisements that you can click on that will earn you cash from $0.05 - $1.00. Visit Mturk. Amazon Mechanical Turk is crowdsourcing work in which you can do different tasks to earn a certain amount of money. You can do transcription, freelance writing, surveys and other tasks that are available. Once you have made at least $1 in earnings, you are able to redeem it to your bank account or as an Amazon gift card. If you are a new worker for mTurk, then your earnings will be held for 10 days from the first hit that you do before going into your Amazon payment account. There are also resources such as HITsWorthTurkingFor to find the tasks easier for you to work on.
Visit Mxwrk. This is another crowdsourcing task work that appears to be new. You check different domains to see how many related links are available for each domain. Once you place the information in the correct boxes, it will check for approval of what you found. The pay is daily and as you work, you are upgraded to different levels when you are doing a good job. As you progress in levels, the money will increase. You are automatically paid daily regardless of what you earn. So if you earned $0.05, then you will be paid the next day. You receive your earned money through Paypal. Also you will need Firefox browser to do the work and download a toolbar that is required.
Find other online work. There will be many seasonal online jobs available just before the holidays roles around and searching online at Work Place Like Home or Rat Race Rebellion are great ways to find jobs such as customer service representatives.

Consignment Sales. If you need to de-clutter right away, then you can take your items to a consignment shop. Your gently used items such as clothing, DVDs, electronics and other items can be sold to consignment. Be sure to call your consignment shop to see what items that may be in need so that you don't lug tons of things and not being able to sell them.
Sell Your Skills. Crafts, baked goods or services can be skills that you can offer for a price to others to bring in an extra income. You can even take your crafts or baked goods to a flea market or set up a booth at other craft shows or bake sales. Budget on what your supplies will cost, along with your booth and set a price for your goods to make a profit.
Run errands. If you don't mind picking up a few things from the grocery store for someone else while you are doing your shopping, or stopping by the cleaners on your way home, then you can earn a little money by helping someone else with their errands. This is a great idea when you may have older neighbors that may not be able to get out of their house much or any other person that may need help with a few things.
