Job Description

 

How would you like to team up with The Priceline Negotiator?  Priceline is looking for Travel Content Contributors who can write hotel descriptions so compelling that our customers can’t wait to stay there.  You may also help out with travel guides, promotional copy and blog entries.  So, do you have a knack for producing tight, error-free, entertaining and information-rich copy that drives hotel bookings?  The best part of this consulting gig is, you don’t have to come to work!  You can write at home, in the middle of the night – whenever and wherever your creative juices flow best.

Required Skills 

 

Excellent research and writing skills, along with the persistence to make sure you’ve got the facts right.  An ability to write under deadline with minimal direction and produce a minimum of 30 hotel descriptions per week. Actual travel experience in major U.S. cities is a definite plus.

Required Experience 

 

4-year college degree in English, Journalism or some other writing-oriented discipline.  Must have writing samples from prior commercial freelance or full-time work.  Travel-oriented writing samples preferred (no technical manuals or textbook samples, please).
Years of Experience
2+ to 5 years experience producing copy for a newspaper, magazine, broadcast outlet, online business or other business or organization.  Online writing experience for an Internet travel company is highly desirable.
