Varsity Tutors Hiring QA Analysts

Varsity Tutors, a premier private tutoring and test prep technology platform, are seeking multiple talented QA Analysts. We are one of the fastest growing companies in education and we are looking for highly driven and detailed Quality Assurance Analysts to help in the maintenance and implementation of our high quality web applications and technology services. The QA Analysts will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer and be heavily involved in quality assurance processes and strategies. This is a work from home position and offers a competitive salary, healthcare, $2,000 worth of company-issued equipment and software, and 52 free hours of tutoring per year.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance Analyst role
• Ability and experience in working on a QA Team
• Experience working on web and mobile applications
• Experience with ticket tracking systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to write detailed and thorough explanations
• Experience with source code repositories (such as Git)
• Experience performing QA on Mac and PC platforms
• Highly observant with an extreme attention to detail
• Experience working within an agile software development environment

Pluses

• Experience with automating tests
• Programming experience

Responsibilities

• Extensive QA Analysis of web applications and technology services
• Review and test company software to ensure a high standard of quality
• Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
• Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with multiple projects and their implementation dates
